A Couple Watercolours

So, I posted recently that I wanted to explore watercolours more, so here are a couple from this past week. I thought I'd seen other painters saturate their page with water before they'd add colours...this thinking brought me to the the fuzzy abomination on the bottom pic, it wasn't long after I started adding paint, that I noticed it had a mind of it's own...now I know.

Junior Derby

This is a sketch done to use as promotional image for the new junior roller derby league in Vancouver.
